Review of New BMW X3 2011

The new BMW X3 2011 edition is a luxury compact crossover that is completely redesigned for the year since its introduction. It competes with vehicles like Audi Q5, Acura RDX, Infiniti EX35, and Cadillac SRX.

New for 2011

2011 BMW X3 comes with slightly larger size and is available with standard all wheel drive configuration. It can accommodate five passengers in its interior. Manual transmission for the year 2011 has been removed.

Power-Train

X3 for the year 2011 is offered with 2 engine choices- 3.0-L inline-6 cylinder engine that can generate 240-horsepower and a 3.0-L inline-6-cylinder that can deliver 300 hp. Both the engines in the vehicle can generate peak torque at low rates. A speed of 0-to-60 mph can be reached under seven seconds. It can achieve a mileage of 19 miles per gallon in the city and 25 mpg on the highways.


Exterior and Interior

X3′s sculpted hood is additional for the new BMW design. In comparison to the previous versions, 2011 X3’s wheelbase is quite longer by 0.6 inches. The overall length of the vehicle is increased by 3.4 inches.

2011 X3 cabin space has been increased for 2011. Elbowroom and leg room are also increased. The standard backseat in the vehicle can be folded in order to extend cargo volume.

Price

The base price of the new BMW X3 2011 version is in the range of $36,750 -$41,050. The market price of the vehicle is around $37,625.
